Over 2500 great locomotives have been built at the Plant, Doncaster. Sadly many where scrapped log ago. Fortunately a few, and some of the most famous at that, have survived to the present day. Non are on public display in Doncaster however. To see any of these icons of our industrial and technological heritage it is necessary to travel far and wide.
